Tasmanian Devil Necklace with Australian Gemstones
What a great way to remember a visit, to think of your home town when abroad or to plan the next holiday - this necklace is easy to wear and showcases not only a detailed and very cute tasmanian devil charm, but also two Australian gemstones, mookaite and chrysoprase.
Mookaite is the Western Australian variety of jasper which occurs in a variety of brown and burgundy shades. This mookaite is carved into a flower out of dark brown, earth colour material. The chrysoprase drop is natural apple green.
All three pendants are added to a shiny stainless steel cable chain which measures 51cm in length. The chain closes with a lobster claw clasp and has a cute, faceted citrine attached next to the clasp.
The Tasmanian devil charm is cast out of high quality pewter and measures 2cm in width, 1cm in hight, the mookaite flower measures 20mm in diameter.
" The Tasmanian devil is a carnivorous marsupial of the family Dasyuridae, now found in the wild only on the Australian island of Tasmania including tiny east-coast Maria Island where there is a conservation project with disease-free animals." (Wikipedia)
